AWD Transit Santa Monica Charcoal

Slide the door open. The outside world stays outside. Step into the Santa Monica and the first thing you notice is the craftsmanship — custom-milled Maple paneling on the walls, finished in a clean White Gel Stain, with Antique Walnut overhead. Not vinyl printed to look like wood. The real thing. Soft, multi-zone LED lighting sets the mood without trying too hard. Every cabinet, every cubby, was placed on purpose — nothing here is an afterthought. Coffee with a mountain view. A quiet night after a long hike. This isn't a camper van you tolerate. It's one you look forward to coming back to.

Sleeps four. Comfortably — not 'technically.' Press a button and the electronic elevator bed glides down. Insulated side flares make the most of every inch, and the three-fold mattress means nobody's waking up with a sore back. Ready for the day? Raise the bed. Now you've got two side benches facing each other — drop a table in between and it's a full workspace. Answer emails, eat breakfast, spread out a map. Whatever the day needs, this spot handles it. Come nightfall, the table comes out and the center infill goes in. The benches, the infill, and a mattress on top turn into a second full bed — wide enough for two people to actually sleep, not just fit. Everyone sleeps. Nobody compromises.

The rear bench seat isn't just for travel; it folds down completely flat to create a dedicated sleeping spot. Need somewhere for a kid to sleep? It converts in seconds — no extra square footage required. Small detail, big difference when you're actually living in the van

The kitchen starts with a deep undermount sink, a high-rise faucet, and enough counter space to actually prep a meal — not balance a cutting board on your knees. The portable induction cooktop does the cooking, and built-in water filtration means what comes out of that tap is actually worth drinking. The 12V fridge/freezer lives right in the kitchen run. Cold storage exactly where you'd reach for it — no digging through a cooler buried under gear at the back of the van. Storage is everywhere you'd want it and nowhere you'd notice it. Overhead cabinets hold the microwave with air fryer, plus everyday dishes and dry goods. Underneath the sink, the plumbing and water lines stay tucked out of sight — so the space works instead of just existing. Dinner on day twelve should taste as good as dinner on day one.

Skip the campground bathroom line. The full-size aluminum wet bath has a retractable shower door and a glycol heating system that actually delivers hot water — not lukewarm, not "give it ten minutes." There's also an exterior shower for rinsing off sand or trail dust before you even step inside, plus a portable dry-flush toilet for when privacy matters more than proximity to a gas station.

The best campsites never have power hookups. That's kind of the point of finding them. The Santa Monica carries a 15,600Wh (1200Ah) lithium battery bank — enough to run the AC, microwave, and lights without babysitting your power levels. A 200W solar panel tops it off in the sun, the alternator charges while you drive, and a 30-amp shore power hookup gets you back to full fast when you do find an outlet.go further. Stay longer. Don't think about it.

Underneath it all: a brand-new 2025 Ford Transit 350 High Roof AWD. Real chassis, real backup. The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 and 10-speed automatic handle highway miles and mountain grades without complaint. Premium 3M Thinsulate insulation keeps the cabin livable whether it's July in the desert or January in the mountains. And Ford backs it with a transferable 7-year/120,000-mile warranty — because peace of mind should travel with you too
