Build Overview
"Built for full-time living, this Ford Transit 148 EXT combines an open and airy interior with the practical systems needed for everyday life on the road. A full-size kitchen, hidden bench shower, slide-out toilet, flexible garage, generous storage, and 400W of rooftop solar make smart use of the extended Transit platform. From the removable bed base to the service-friendly electrical and water systems, every part of the layout is designed around comfort, flexibility, and practical off-grid living."

Kitchen & Dining Setup
- • Full-Size Deep Kitchen: A wide kitchen designed around the Transit 148 EXT, with a deep countertop and plenty of usable workspace.
- • 10" Deep Sink with Bamboo Cutting Board: The cutting board covers the sink and can be flipped over to create extra counter space beside the induction cooktop.
- • 110V Induction Cooktop: A portable induction cooktop that plugs into a dedicated hidden outlet and can be removed when needed.
- • RecPro 12V Refrigerator & Freezer: Approximately 5 cu. ft. of quiet, RV-specific cooling with separate refrigerator and freezer compartments and a travel-safe door latch.
- • Microwave & Overhead Storage: A microwave sits above the refrigerator, with additional storage space above it for towels and other items.
- • Lagoon Table: A movable Lagoon table provides a flexible dining and workspace that can be pushed away when more room is needed.
- • Kitchen Ventilation Window: An opening window with a mosquito screen provides ventilation while cooking.
Bathroom & Shower System
- • Hidden Bench Shower: A complete shower is built inside the bench and remains concealed when not in use.
- • Waterproof Shower Curtains: Two waterproof curtains can be used to enclose the shower and can also separate the cab area from the living space.
- • Adjustable Shower Controls: The water temperature can be set once, with a separate on/off control for convenient shower use.
- • Slide-Out Toilet: The toilet is stored inside the bench and slides out through the side rather than requiring heavy lifting.
